Incredibly tedious and demoralising day at work. Have been told we have to have a policy on where we keep the keys to the filing cabinets when we shut down the NHS as we know it in 18 months time. Seriously. Very uplifting.

But good to come home to the family. Cooked salmon in plum sauce with vermicelli followed by home made apple crumble. So the stirrer here is just a poser, it's all my cooking. But she is actually a very good cook.

She's taking the apron home to Uni tonight. There will no doubt be a riot in the kitchen in her halls of residence...
