Wow! We arrived at Circular Quay train station to be greeted by a view of the harbour bridge and the Opera house. Our hostel roof terrace also boasts excellent views of both.

We arrived and left our bags at the hostel before going to the Art School for the last day of their post grad exhibition. They have a great building and there were some really nice pieces of work on display.

After enjoying a lovely tea cooked by Andy we headed off to find the Lord Nelson Brewery (a couple we met on the train from York to Heathrow told us about it). An excellent pub featuring its own micro-brewery. We sampled many, some how found ourselves having ordered a Ploughmans with a tonne of cheese and lots of pickles before enjoying an evening stroll around to the Opera house. On the way we discovered an ice cream shop where they allow you to add your own warm caramel sauce, Andy had to drag me away before I asked for an empty tub...
