La noche de museos
Today I got the proposition for my uni assigment completed :) Finally making some headway, let's hope Patricia likes my ideas!
Alexia and I went to the Belgrano market to tick another one off our list. They're all pretty much the same. I picked myself up a new ring and necklace..deffs need to stop spending and visiting markets! We went on to Chinatown after which had lots of shops which seemed more like jumble sales to be honest.
After seeing fried chicken feet and stomach/brain we decided to eat in a restaurant. I had the chicken curry which was yum but not half as good as the chineses from Larne!
We just got back and I had to rush to get ready for La Noche de los Museos. Basically all the museums tonight were free entry from 8pm-3am. We met at the Beatles museum which had a ridiculously long queue and apparently it would have taken like 2 hours to get in. So we decided to go for a wander. A few people went for drinks, some stayed in the queue and Naomi, Stephanie and Kat went to the Congreso. The queue moved much quicker and we got in no problem. It was such a large and impressive building! We finished just in time to meet the others for drinks including Carla the girl I met at the orphanage last week. But after walking for a very long time we were lost and apparently had the wrong address. So the night turned into a bit of a disaster and we ended up going home as nothing was going to plan. However I did get to see fireworks and the pink house or Casa Rosada as its known here :)
