A beach...finally :)
We left for Tigre at half 9 this morning and turns out that it costs 50p return! Transport is crazy cheap here. When we arrived we went to get the boat to a place called Alcazar which a few people from the house recommended to us for a beach day.
When boarding the boat we managed to get on the wrong one. Albeit a much classier and comfier boat and the driver dropped off us at Alcazar anyway so I can't complain. Also by getting on the wrong one we had a larger boat journey and got to see the Delta which is part of the Parana river in Argentina. It was such a pretty and worthwhile boat journey as we got to see all the little lake houses on stilts because of the marshy land and they all had their own own docking area from the delta with their address on it, it was so cute!
We just lay and sunbathed all day which was a nice change from the busy Buenos Aires and we stayed until half 6. We rushed back to the docking area to make the boat back but none of the boats were stopping. For a while I thought we could actually end up stranded in this tiny Island but after waving a lot at the boats going past, one stopped and took us back to Tigre.
After returning back to our apartments Alexia, Lisa and I went to Andy's apartment which is pretty incredible and he cooked us some steak, prawns and potatoes for dinner. It was so nice!
