In the deep dark woods

Went for a great long walk at Avondale with the Baudsons.
The kids had a ball and covered a few more miles than the adults (what with all the running to and fro, beelines, zigzagging, and general messing that went on).
Today I almost managed to grab a shot with all 5 of them looking at the camera. Almost...
After the cairn, we pushed as far as the river. We did not get lost. Technically, I did not really know where we were going. It's not the same.

This is Mimi panicking and running away from a giant badger (I've used the "BEAR ATTACK - RUN AWAY FAAAAAST!!!" trick a bit too much, I had to find a novel way of traumatising them...)
