Special Intentions

One of my best workmates and friends is in need of some paryers. His mother was diaganosed with some sort of cancerous tumour and she was getting heavy doses of chemo for it. Last week he phoned to say that she had devleoped a severe infection in her leg that was gangerous and therefore they were having to stop the chemo in order to amputate her lower leg!
I cannot think of any worse dilema! The docotrs say the tumour was shrinking but this having to stop the chemo may set it back and losing half a leg doesnt bear thinking about!

Therefore it was back to the church to light some candles and say a few words to the big man for him and his mum. Feel free to add a few words on their behalf.
