New Dawn

As dawn is now happening within the part of the morning that I'm generally up and about, it seems a shame not to take advantage of it and get a few sunrises on my blip. So here's this morning. Up early as I'd booked a taxi to take us to school, and allowed a little too much time to allow for mishaps/lost drivers. All went smoothly and even the car hire place (supermarket) was super-efficient. So, off to work painting and tidying. The electricians have almost finished now - and seeing lights come on when light switches are pressed feels like a big step.

Mr B's ferry was a little late, so he arrived just before dinner - to much screaming from the kids (he has been away for quite a while this time). He took the news about the car rather better than I expected, perhaps it was a good idea that we left that disclosure until after some wine had been consumed.
