Above and below

Ch had a half-day of school today and asked to go to the Louvre on an outing this afternoon. That idea didn't occur to too many other people, it seems, as it was much quieter and emptier than I ever remember it. Ch was excited to see the Mona Lisa and I enjoyed the huge history paintings by Gros, David and Delacroix.

On a sad note, J flew back to Canada this morning...
