Klein Hangklip on a cold, damp and very windy day

Klein Hangklip at a little over 300m high dominates the village of Rooi Els. I live about 50m back from where this shot was taken and as you can imagine, the mountain is in everything we do.

Most days, the weather just piles over the mountain, ignoring it's presence - it's just a chunk of rock after all.

Today walking our two scotties, the late afternoon sun was reflecting dully off the damp rocks on the north (sunny) face, making a Blip inevitable.

I've been up to the top, but only in summer. Today, my guess is that the temperature is about 10C up there and the wind is howling at about 60km/h.

Glad I'm now back in a toasty-warm house ;-)
