Faces of Fiona #34

Back to the busy city. Our day with Fiona - time for the Aquarium. Here is a favorite spot on the Sea Otter bench...today we learned that sea otters have retractable claws like cats and the thickest coat of all mammals. She's decided she likes to go up and down in the elevator but wouldn't join the other toddlers in the craft room.
But rather than risk no nap again with Boppa, Fiona went home to Daddy for the nap (hopefully) while I got to go to my book club. The book: The Lotus Eaters, by Tatjana Soli, about a woman photojournalist in the Viet Nam war. Very vividly written, not as a history but about the characters, with insights into what drives the photojournalists, male and female, to be there. I did enjoy it.
