Stratocumulus
The seasons in Dubai bear a strange resemblance to that of Scotland, in as much as they don't tend to vary much. In Scotland, in any given season, you are likely to have a smattering of rain, a touch of wind, perhaps with a breakthrough of sunshine if you're lucky. Likewise here, there are no big surprises - it's just different intensities of hot coupled with endless blue skies. The only time it gets interesting is when 'seasons' change.
We've just entered such a time and today the sky was cloud-ridden as a result. However, as if in defiance, the sun broke through as it was setting for the day, revealing some interesting colors and light beams. Perfect timing for me as I was driving home from the Mall. Thank goodness for the iPhone.
