It's all about vintage

Another quite eventful day. We got up early, had breakfast on a small roof top terrace of our hotel and headed to the cable car to go up to the Monte Palace Garden. It was much more crowded than what we had expected but it was fun nonetheless.

As we still had some time we also walked through the botanical garden (which we didn't think was that impressive) and went to the Orchid Garden. Now this was pretty cool! Basically all sorts of orchids everywhere! Some of which were incredibly beautiful and interesting. We even bought some bulbs so let's hope that we get them to bloom.

On the way back to the hotel we stopped at the Blandy winery and went on one of the tours to show us how the Madeira wine is made. It was rather interesting and delicious! (There was a tasting of some wines following the tour)
