November... really?

Apparently it's November, all the signs are here, leaves falling from the trees, Christmas decorations in the shops and people wearing their poppies. My quince bush in the garden doesn't seem to realise this though and is starting to blossom again.

Today started early for me, the council are resurfacing our road this week so all cars had to be moved. One car did remain though, we were only notified on Friday and one neighbour is away on holiday, so they resurfaced around his car. Hopefully they will come back and finish the job after his return.
