Not yet an antique...
... but something of a collectible.
While waiting for my smoked salmon, cucumber and cream cheese roll at the deli, I ran into local identity Richard Neville, who is perhaps most famous for the controversial and provocative Oz Magazine (1963 - 73), which landed him and his co-publishers in court three times (in Australia and in the UK) and which is credited with giving Australia its nickname.
Those of us of the right age will remember the palaver.
It's a fascinating and inevitable story - a google search of "richard neville oz magazine" will bring up heaps of sites if you're interested. Wikipedia covers the facts pretty well, for a start.
A lot of copies were burned by police at the time, so old copies of Oz are seriously collectible now (I think my brother has one actually...)
