In Between Days

Built

I have never found Lego so slow going and frustrating! I was determined to finish the X Wing for Louis. My knees are sore and my knuckles from leaning and searching for the right piece. Searching and searching through thousands of pieces, knowing the piece was there, somewhere. The nice thing was Louis was never more than a few feet away whilst I was making it and Alana made regular appearances. If it gets broken up again it is going in a bag so that all the bits stay together rather than be mixed with all the other Lego! There are arguments against this due to him making his own ships from all his Lego, but seeing as it took two days to build compared to a few hours the first time, I know it will never be built again if I am faced with all that searching, endless searching. Of course L could build it (I think Louis needs a few more years).

The searching was broken up by a pub dinner at the Birchwood Farm with the in-laws. As a treat I shared a cake with Alana. It was massive and we couldn't finish it, even with L eating several large spoonfuls.
