i am beginning to wonder if catching up on your blips is a bit like doing your tax return. although the tax return doesnt take as long as you think it's going to and blipping takes longer...so maybe it's not like that at all.
back to the alarm clock and boot camp routine. what is it with this crazy three day half term...? my friends all seem to think it's a travesty that the kids have any holidays at all - according to them there weren't any school holidays when they were kids. makes a girl grateful to be a southerner...
every morning careptbiter2 asks if he can watch telly when he wakes up. the answer is the same every school day - not until you're ready. but he still asks. maybe he's hoping to catch us out. one day he will and it will be the end of civilisation as we know it.
every afternoon, i pick the kids up and they ask - what's in the car - ie what have you got for me to eat? i started off with fruit and breadsticks but am slowly giving in to biscuits - easier and i get some very cheap popularity points.
today was ginger biscuits. carpetbiter1 gets camera shy.
the computer is covered in a fine layer of dust as mr skaterg1rl has spent the day chiselling a hearth out. it was my idea. i thought it would be a quick job but he insists on something called preparation. strange concept.
i am pretending not to notice that it's my 100 tomorrow. lots of half baked ideas which i dismiss as not being dramatic enough. maybe i'll celebrate my 115th instead...
