Old Town chimney pots

As I was walking through Edinburgh today, the sunshine (yes, sunshine!!) bouncing off all the different chimney pots in this part of the Old Town caught my eye. I don't really think that it quite does all the shadows and different levels of chimney pots justice, but this was the best photo that I managed to take, so it will have to do.

Clearly I need some serious photography practice.

In other news, I do love the colour of the autumnal trees in the foreground.
