Something for everyone!

I had a very successful trip to the auction yesterday morning. There was the usual selection of items and mixed tray lots, as the auctioneer often remarks, 'There's something for everyone here!' I bought a couple of things for myself and lots of 'stuff' for the Oxfam shop. Mike was very taken with this odd item and so it remains with us - for the time being anyway.
My house has the oddest assortment of things, one of my purchases yesterday was a cast iron horse, must blip him one day, he's lovely. Oh well, these foolish things, it's my junk and I like it.
Now for some belated commenting. I only managed to back blip yesterday. We had a great night out at the neighbours but today I am really tired after a week of early mornings and late nights. Luxury tonight, I'm looking forward to watching Downton which Mike recorded for me as I missed it last Sunday.
