Old & New

The start of a series of train journies, the first home to Wakefield (via Nottingham and Sheffield) for a weekend of DIY at K's. Thus am laden down like Paspatout, laptop bag, clothes bag and tool bag!! Don't think I've been to Sheffield station before, was very impressed with the 'Sympathetic modernisation contrasting the Victorian detail'....to use Kevin McCloud speak! All I'd really say, is that its done well. If only the train companies could put on sufficient trains to cover the number of traveller I can see a rail Renaissance (certainly for me!)
