Golden light

I was working at home today, but there was a nice lunchtime break when I went to the Vaults with some friends who were passing through Edinburgh. After some debate we realised that we hadn't seen each other for twenty-five years - it was very nice to see them again. After a nice lunch we paid a brief visit to DH so that they could see him at work in his bone dungeon.

There was rain and grey skies most of the day but fortunately I looked up from my work and saw this lovely evening light on the roofs. I thought that was a wood pigeon on the chimney pot, but in this it looks a bit like a rabbit.
