Downtown Northampton

This is Main Street in Northampton, just west of the main intersection in town. It's taken from the end of the bike path bridge over the street (which parallels the railroad bridge). There's a chain link fence along the entire bridge itself, preventing a good shot along the street from the middle of the bridge. It's fun to view large.

There's very little left of the big snow here in the very center of town, but the further out you go, the more snow there still is. Towns all around are still without power, and some households even without water and phone. Four counties in western Massachusetts, including ours, have been declared a federal disaster area.
