Feathered Sky
There was another beautiful sky this morning - we are being really spoilt just now. It was 3C and very cold but by the time I got to school it was 7C!! Maybe it's where I live! The grass on the field was covered in frost and there was a real chilly feel. This was outweighed by the stunning sky.
A farmer had delivered a pumpkin to school for the children to carve - it took 3 adults to lift it. What a whopper! We all had a ball and everyone had dig. We took loads of photos and I left them at school! All the seeds are separated and we will clean and dye some of them and replant some of the others next season.
Today I discovered a real treasure in the community who I hope will come into school and work with us. Such a gent and a very interesting person. Sometimes I come across people who stand out as fabulous teachers and who instinctively understand children. He is one of these people. Life's tapestry is rich!
