Still under occupation

It's actually not fair to the 99.99% who are not demonstrating that a public square (belonging to all of us) should still be annexed as a campsite (for maybe 100 protestors). I don't want the world economy to be in tatters thanks to moral hazard either, but we are where we are.

The hallowe'en festival had to be cancelled and soon they won't be able to put up the Christmas tree. Surely there must be a more effective way of protesting, because no-one is really paying any attention to this increasingly insignificant occupation any more. Why not camp out in first class travel lounges?

I liked the NYT columnist Niclas Kristof's suggested slogans of demanding a financial-transactions tax, the closing of the "carried interest" loophole and stricter capital requirements (he suggests the Basel 3 standards) for big banks. Not catchy but at least a proffered solution.
