Lunch

Baby Swans seem to be voracious little feeders. They have virtually demolished the flora on the banks of the pond, leaving it littered with sad looking stalks.
I have to admit that I didn't know that Swans were herbivores. For some reason, I'd always assumed that their diet consisted entirely of "Mothers Pride" (bread). If I'd have thought about it, I would have realised that this bread wasn't in existence a million years ago and so it's obvious they must have been eating something else. Hovis perhaps.

That really is the last swan for a while.
