An instant out of time

End of the season

Mega-size ice cream cones definitely appeal to my inner child. This one is outside the 1930s Driftwood Cafe at Blue Anchor on the North Somerset coast - the best possible place for breakfast, lunch or tea after a long walk along around the sweep of Blue Anchor Bay, to Dunster Beach and back.

Today, the sun shone, the Labrador splashed around in the sea, and was rewarded with a dog-size vanilla cone, served by the very nice man who owns the dog-friendly cafe.

Not a bad way to start November.
