Trick or Treat

Good thing our main shopping street is closed to traffic on Halloween or their would have been a big stink about it! This costume needed two handlers--one on the front end and another on the back to lift the tail when necessary. There were actually two different dogs got up as skunks, and a whole lot of people as devils and fairy tale characters and angels and Waldo and princesses, unicorns, chickens, robots and furry animals.
Later tonight the scene gets a bit darker--the little kids are home counting their candy and the crowds that appear after dark have a sinister edge. Police presence is huge, with chain link fences and bright overhead lights. We time our visits to hang out with the fairy tale crowd and always have fun seeking out the homemade outfits.
