A rose by any other name

Management's not been too well recently so I thought I'd try and cheer her up with some flowers - and gain a few brownie points in the process. I gained extra points from the purchase of stem ginger ice cream....and an admonition not to buy any more of the latter as she was putting on weight

So a mixed reception then, but I notice she still ate the ice-cream.. can't let things go to waste, can we?

Anyway, this rose was among some chrysanthemums and the colours were superb russets and golds, so I thought I'd blip the rose before it drops...as it will all too soon.

(I lit this using the strip lights under kitchen wall units. Quite like the effect!
