Tricky shot

Hallowe'en isn't a big thing over here - I had just the 1 trick or treat-er, who is our friend's sweet little boy. He was our only trick or treat-er last year too, but we didn't have anything in for him and felt so embarrassed we gave him some money instead. We were prepared this year though, with fun sized chocolate bars - I gave him two, to make up for last year, and he looked suitably impressed! One of the families who have a property on the resort had a fire-work display for their kids and kindly held it in the centre of the resort and invited everyone along. Being near the airport, a resort official had to wait for clearance before lighting them. It was a fantastic display and excitingly ended in a bit of scrub-land catching alight! It was quite a blaze, and there was talk of taking marshmallows and chestnuts down, but then the fire engines turned up and spoiled our fun.
