High Seas

As much as I love the country and perhaps even more, the people that live and work on the land for their "down to earthness", humour and honesty, the sea is definitely in my heart. I suspect I was a pirate in a past life, or a sailor, or a fisherman, I just love being near the sea.

This is actually low tide. High tide at lunch had most of the beaches closed with large seas. Not the ginormous waves we had some months back but big enough. Tonight as I came back from the beach there were some strange sights of witches, ghouls and other halloween spectres walking the streets. Happy halloween to those who celebrate it.
