One, two, three, four, five,
Once I caught a fish alive...

A short walk along the Forth and Clyde Canal today. I came across two guys fishing and just as I was there one got a bite- this roach was duly landed. Apparently it's quite a big roach but I wouldn't know, I've only ever been sea fishing.

The roach was photographed and duly returned alive to the depths of the canal.
It was doing well to get to that size- last year further up the canal I saw a pike swimming in the depths...
