Autumn at its best!

This beautiful wood is situated outside Edzell on the way up Glen Esk. It's a walk which takes you to the Rocks of Solitude where you can see salmon leaping up the falls. My friend and I didn't see any salmon but another animal we saw plenty of was the charming and very energetic Red Squirrel!

Further up the glen road we stopped at a place called Tarfside for lunch and then had a little walk up the moor path. Afterwards we continued to the end of the road at Invermark where the spooky Invermark Castle stands. Perhaps I should have used that as my blip seeing as how it's Halloween. Oh well!
