Cuteness is the Robin!

Robins are so darn cute! They have to be one of the cutest-looking birds in the world I reckon. Alert, bold, cunning, delightful, endearing, fiery! Fiery characters as fiery as the colour of their breasts! I love them! This is our 'local' Robin which occupies our garden. He regularly sits and sings in the bushes just a few metres from our living room window, or hiding in a little conifer tree behind the plum tree where the seed feeder is. I think I'll have to name him because I can't keep calling him 'Robin' all the time. It's nice to put names to things ;)

We're having a little problem with Wood Mice in our garage so on Thursday I went along the high street and bought a little trap-trap mouse trap which catches them live and then you release them about a mile away. Didn't catch anything yesterday but this morning I went to check on it and had managed to catch a huge one! I then went up to the old road and released it. Have reset it so now waiting to see if we catch another ...
