Who knew?

Glory

I decided that I fancied a bit of sports photography, and was fortunate enough to be invited to the Lecce and Milan game taking place at the San Siro (kick off 6.36pm).

Shortly before half time (well 30 minutes before) I managed to get this shot of star striker Gary Hutchinson celebrating his first goal in a 4-0 win. This touching moment also includes that greasy Ronaldo fella that played at Utd and the gifted Spaniard Iniesta. Hutchinson added twice to his tally (one a 32 yard piledriver achieved by gently flicking the left stick and holding RB just as he released the ball) to notch a memorable hat trick.

The hat trick wasn't that surprising though seeing as the youngster from England has already smashed 42 goals into the back of the net in his last 16 games. The win leaves Lecce (chosen because of the fetching yellow and red stripes) eight points clear of Juventus at the top of Serie A.

In other news I should get out more.
