Dog in the jungle

My jungle is thriving, except for the fig tree. I have now started to worry about it. I have collected dozens of jars for the fig jam and the fig tree is still bare. I have seen somebody else's fig tree today and it was all green, huge leaves, green figs, the lot. Mine has a few little leaves, but is mainly bare. I hope I haven't killed it somehow.
