Still Life Workshop

I am at the end of a long but very fulfilling and fun day.

The morning was spent listening to two natural history speakers, Graham Dainty and Craig McKenzie whilst showing their magnificent images....Graham showing his patch of Fiordland and Craig is an amazing bird photographer.....both were splendid.

This afternoon we had a go at still life photography.....lots to learn here but made a start....Micky Waby, she was very good & I understand she has a website, gosh she does some sensational stuff.

Then off we went out to the Tairoa Heads and watched the Albatross's flying, did manage three pictures of them, loads of nesting gulls and shags.....strong easterly winds cleared the head.

Back to the stadium for dinner then home to our motel - conversation .... putting right all wrongs whilst drinking some Amarula (totally medicinal you know!!)

Struggling to talk with this throat.....a good thing I think.
