Like a Washing Machine
Blipped Saturday morning at 6.30!!!
This morning friend dups and I set off to travel south to Dunedin. Sun shining. We resisted many opportunities to stop for some photography on the journey as we had a job to do hanging the Landscape images for a National Competition.
The convention is being held in the new stadium, fourth floor, built for the World Cup (a reminder - we won this) I took a couple of picies of the stadium but chose the sea instead. I think pcc and dups will have this covered.
Job done, we headed for the beaches of St Clair & St Kilda. Fantastic. A big sea was running creating a misty haze. This is taken standing on the cliff looking down to the beach. We headed to a pub, shared a pizza and watched a lone surfer riding the waves. Great!
Opening speeches, viewing the Salon competition and Inter-Club competitions. The banquet followed (the food and service was very smart) They will show our Bowron & George Chance AV on Sunday morning.
Tomorrow is speakers in the morning and our Still Life Workshop in the avi.
