my eyes they cannot lie

STOP the clocks

Today was a good day! I'd posted a parcel to say a huge THANKYOU to someone special and they were really pleased to receive it. And that made me happy. Totally happy.

Dismantled the double wardrobe, with help from twitter and my girls and I gifted them to someone on Freecycle. A lady who is starting on her own and has had a bit of a rubbish time. I got them from Freecycle so it really *is* passing IT ON.
I hope she enjoys them as much as I did.

Found a tall boy and a cupboard in the second hand mill - delivered tomorrow. Just new wardrobes to sort now.

Handed the keys to the old place, Landlord is a love and gave me a bit of a telling off for not cleaning the oven to his exacting standards. So I donned the rubber gloves and went for it* *chucked the old shelf and tray away and bought new ones.

Took the girls to IKEA, they love the play area so I wandered quite happily on my own *headphones in - Twitter on* for an hour. Saw a bed that will be great in Lily's room. <counts pennies>

Did get a large clock though, and even though it was a busy day and I was tired, I hung it and it looks good!

Today's big thinks: time, those secret stolen moments, and doing nice things for people and hoping for karma to notice and also a little bit of WTF are you doing Kate?

"Lose not yourself in a far off time, seize the moment that is thine."
