The Wild West!

It was certainly the Wild West today as we stuck out for Bertra a beautiful beach on the West Coast of Ireland! There's nothing like a bracing walk to clear away the cobwebs & sometimes there's nothing like visting a childhood beach to relive memories of years gone by, the fun, the simplicity of it all.

The wild winds nearly had my hat away to Westport or further afield & after several failed & runing against gale force winds I managed to catch it! My partner in crime had thought he was walking too fast (as if!) for me when he realised I was no longer by his side & he could see me as a tiny spec at the far end of the beach.

It's nice to be home again after so long!
