Sticking Around
A bus driver's window w/his own Wall of Luchador Fame.
Unlike buses back home, which tend to be be very bare and devoid of anything proclaiming the bus driver's personality (an oxymoron, some might say, if they were feeling cruel!) Mexican buses are always personalised up to the hilt. Probably due to the fact that they spend so much time in the damned things.
Although, I am no big fan of the pantomime that is modern-day wrestling, I do love the Mexican approach w/the crazy-as-a-mofo masks that they sport. Also, it takes itself a lot less seriously than the American version, which is no bad thing.
Seeing it live, though is something I would heartily recommend to anyone. As much for the crowd, as for the spectacularly acrobatic nature of their dancing (you certainly couldn't call it fighting!). The atmosphere in the hall is truly electric and bawdy. The air thick w/the foulest language imaginable as people go nuts shouting for their particular favourite.
This GUY, however, is nobody's favourite.
