The Bandstand

Here I am at the seafront executing the most perfect sit and wait for my photo! I think I might be better viewed LARGE!

We were right near a main road AND there were quite a few people watching but nothing distracted me, I am getting VERY good at posing now :-)

The bandstand is lovely, especially in the sunshine. In the summer, every Sunday, the Salvation Army brass band play music for the oldies to sit in deckchairs and enjoy. It is really lovely. My mum enjoys it because she is an oldie now ;-)

We had a reeeeeaaallllly long walk this morning. We were out for 2 hours. Mum kept taking photos and I kept sitting and waiting, even when I wasn't the subject.

We walked up hills and down hills and along the seafront and through the town centre. We met some of my doggie friends I see sometimes. Megan is a Red Setter and she is soooo beautiful. She is very regal :-) I made a new friend Teddy the Golden Retriever. He was HUGE and very cuddly.

We went in the pet shop in town and got me some lovely bedtime noms then we walked back past all the noisy roadworks. They don't bother me at all. I just trot on past and normally pick my moment for a poop right next to the workmen *giggle*

I must admit I was REALLY tired on the way back, I kept looking at mum with "the eyes" to try and get her to stop. All she kept saying was "come on Lily, we are nearly there". I now know that my mum tells little lies sometimes! We weren't "nearly there" at all!

I am having a good old snooze up this afternoon on the sofa then daddy is taking me out for a short walk because mum is off to meet Kirstie AGAIN! Apparently they are going to be mystery customers....... I think it is an excuse to eat lots!

ps last night I slept in my bed in the kitchen all night. I think I really did blow my chance of sleeping with mum and daddy!
