I slept like a baby....

...but I don't think mum would agree. Here is was happened.......

I was at marma and grandad's house and it was time for bed. Mum put up the sofa bed in the lounge and put my bed into the kitchen right next door.

I had a little bedtime snuggle with mum and then when she said the words 'time for bed' I jumped up like I normally do, and sat on my bed for my night time treat.

She shut the door on me and jumped into bed herself. All was quiet...........then....I realised that I could see mum in the sofa bed because the kitchen door is glass. Oh boy, did that bed look MUCH comfier than mine.

So I stratched at the door a bit, whined a bit and then even threw myself at the door to try and get to her. Mum told me off and sent me back to bed but NO WAY did I want to stay out there, so I started it all again. This time mum let me in! She said she was worried about damaging marma and grandad's door and we wouldn't be allowed to come again.

So I leapt up on the bed and got myself snuggled down. I fell asleep straight away, snoring and dreaming to my hearts content. I stretched myself right across mums legs, I took up nearly the WHOLE bed.

Then all through the night I kept waking up and LOVING the bed sooooo much that I tried out new sleeping positions. I laid with my head next to mum and paws over her, I laid next to mum with my bum pointing at her *giggle*, I laid with my head hanging off the bed, I laid with my legs hanging off the bed, I laid on mums back and I laid on mums front. Each time I changed position I would plonk myself down heavily and do a big sigh. One time I even accidently let off a little bottom puff *giggle*

Then.....at 3am I woke up and was soooooooo excited to see mum that I threw myself on her and kissed her all over her face and tried to have a wrestle! It was GREAT!

I LOVE sleeping with mum, I have never, ever been allowed to sleep with mum or daddy before. I know some of my doggie blip pals are allowed to and I am VERY jealous. I hope we go to marma and grandad's house again soon so I can do it again.

Mum is looking a bit rough today and says there is absolutley NO CHANCE of it happening again???
