The perfect Egg

I recently visited some good friends in Vicenza, Italy. My attempts to learn any Italian before I left were a disaster due to moving house, forgetfulness and abject laziness.

In fact the only Italian I knew was "Non riesco a bollire un uovo ma posso fare una lasagna di verdure" which basically means I don't know how to boil an egg, but I can make a vegetarian Lasagne.

SO this morning I successfully boiled an egg with the use of...A TIMER! Yes I actually timed it and came out with a perfectly runny yolk, not too sloppy on the white, all the while transferring Nils Frahm's album 'Felt' to my ipod for later listening.
