let there be light

We had a lovely morning. We went to the local natural history museum and did leaf prints on a tea towel and had a look around the museum. The kids seem to really enjoy looking at lots of stuffed animals, especially the badgers and fox. We had lunch in town and then went to visit Nana and Grandpa. Grandpa had his hip op a couple of weeks ago, so we went to see how he was doing.
On Monday at church we are having a "bright and light" party as an alternative to Halloween. I need to make a banner for the children to decorate, so this evening I started cutting letters out for the banner. I had these little wooden letters in the cupboard so I used them as a template for the wording on the banner.
