Weep and you weep alone...

I have a friend who is the most gorgeous, vivacious, funny, kind, creative, clever, sexy, fun, caring, woman you could ever hope to meet. Always in demand and the life and soul of any party. She is currently battling breast cancer (and winning - thank God!)

Found out from her today that her partner of almost 3 years left her 5 weeks ago because he "can't handle the cancer" WTF???!!!!!!!! Being her usual empathetic self she tried to comfort him and thought they would work it out. She found out in an email from him less than 3 weeks later that he's seeing someone else.

I am utterly heartbroken for her and won't say what I want to do to him. I'm sure you can guess. This is on top of people removing her from their friend's list on FB when they found out about her diagnosis.

Shame on him and shame on them. But at least she now knows who her real friends are.

Not sure I'll manage to catch up with you all tonight as visiting my mum and spending some time with D as he is off tomorrow on another!!! a boys weekend to Northumberland.

On a cheerier note, we get the keys to our new house next Friday!! Woo hoo!!! :)))))))
