Cold coffee??

On my way home from work the other morning I nipped into the shop and saw this!

Now I'm a fan of tea and coffee but I thought they were meant to be served piping hot? This was being stored in the fridge!

Might be being stupid but I dont see the point of having a cold coffee in a can?

If anyone could enlighten me as to the purpose of these it would be appreciated. :)
