Lost shoe?

On my 6.5 walk home this morning from work I was walking over a bridge and saw this shoe.

First thought was how can someone lose a shoe. Then I started to think about all the possible ways,

Maybe walking home drunk and thought it was a good idea to walk bare footed? Maybe it was thrown out of a car as a joke? Or maybe just maybe someone actually stole one show and then had second thoughts!

Either way I just came to the conclusion that who evers shoe must have had a cold foot for the rest of his journey. :) @its_only_scott
