Arundel Castle
One of the biggest problems we have in this house, like most families is too much week and not enough weekend. The average Saturday morning is taken up by Em's phone call to her mum, then getting ready for Olivers swimming lesson. This takes us to lunchtime, by which time Oliver is tired, so getting things done can be quite a battle. We did go into town for lunch and shopping, which took us till tea time - which meant not a lot was done in the house.
So, this morning, it was a mad dash to get the house tidy before we went out for a nice drive out to Arundel. Spookily, both kids slept in the car on the way there. Well, after such a 'manic' day yesterday, you can maybe see why.... Or did Oliver wake early this morning to play his footbal game on the Wii....? Who knows?
Anyway, a nice afternoon was spent wandering around Arundel this afternoon. Well, three out of four of us enjoyed it anyway, the fourth one moaning that he was bored and there was nothing to do. I did suggest the castle, but in the end, we settled for the park, which both kids took to eagerly - for a short while before Megan decided she was ready for her afternoon nap. Oliver was pleased with himself as he found a travel pillow on the way back to the car. This pillow is not pride of place on his bed. Who knows where it came from.
Its now the evening, and both kids are in bed (well one is still awake and doing something?!) Emma is on the phone catching up on all the gossip from home and I'm back on here again. Its half term this week, so hopefully all at home will have a nice time while I'm out earning the pennies!
Have a good week folks!
