Congratulations to The All Blacks

Euan here is watching the finale of the Rugby World Cup. He seems quite mesmerised by the hip-hooray and ballyhoo, if not by the rugby itself.
As "Old Nosey" said nearly 200 years ago regarding another "match" involving the French, "it was a damn close run thing".
We had a great day today with visitors from Suffolk and the family popping in to say hello. Soon it will be time for tea then feet up with the papers before Downton. A most agreeable end to the weekend.
