Chill, Chilly and Chilled out
Had a row with my dad today, I should have held my tongue but it came on top of quite a stressful time with the move and work and other stuff going on that's messing with my head.
Don't ever remember arguing with him apart from as a teenager and that was about tidying my room or wearing a coat on a night out when it was snowing.
It takes a LOT to get me to that point but I am a typical firecracker. When I'm pushed too far... I blow. Then I'm done. Felt bad all day, but rang and spoke to him and it's all sorted.
Seemed to spend the rest of the day in the park, Jeanne loves the admiration her Razor scooter gets and the highlight for her was when a Skaterboy aged about FIFTEEN comes over, starts asking her about it. Then asks her for a go!
She was so chuffed. She even said to me "I wonder if anybody from school hangs out with teenagers in the park like *I* do?"
I think skatergirl might be the way forward with her! Told her they have skater shops devoted to clothes and boards in Manchester...so will take her down during half term. The scooter has certainly boosted her confidence.
Was freezing after being sat in the skatepark for hours, but once home, I banged on the heating, the girls were happily watching a Pokemon DVD so I made an effort to chill, forget about the row and other stuff.
Sofa in room with no TV, no clutter and just my phone to check Twitter and to listen to Spotify on. And headphones. I have to be clear about that part. HEADPHONES.
Chilled.
