Goodbye pool

That's it, the summer is officially over. We've just put the cover on the pool until next April.

Although we installed the pool ten years ago, it still looks and works like new. It is treated by ultra-violet light, so has no salt, no chlorine, nor any horrid chemicals. Our B&B guests have swum in it all summer and the only problem we have had is with fake tan staining the water-line at the skimmer end.

I've swum at midnight all the way through the gasping heat of July and August and it's been the best possible prelude to good sleep.
